Sperm Freezing
Overview:
Sperm freezing and storage is the procedure whereby sperm cells are frozen to preserve them for future use. We at Sunanda IVF Fertility Clinic freeze the sperm using a special media then keep sperm in liquid nitrogen at minus 196C, and it can be stored for many years while maintaining a reasonable quality.
We offer sperm freezing for men who undergoing following condition.
1. Men who are about to undergo surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy that may impact their future fertility.
2. Men who have very few sperm or perhaps are producing sperm that show evidence of deterioration over time.
3. Men who have difficulty producing a sample on the day of treatment and so banking some sperm in advance can overcome this difficulty.
